Tórshavn Harbour Wind Observation Scheme

On Thursday January 22nd Data Quality Systems pf (DQS) and Tórshavn Harbour agreed to establish a wind observation scheme with two wind observation stations – one in Tórshavn and one in Kollafjørður.
This is the first commercial agreement for DQS. The scheme will serve Tórshavn Harbour as a tool for ship operations when the wind is severe.
For DQS the scheme will serve as an operational platform for the development of a Data Quality Management Scheme for Wind Observations applied for Campbell Dataloggers and Risø Cup anemometers.
