CTD observations (Conductivity/Temperature/Depth) are in focus as the next item on the application palette. This application will most likely be developed in close cooperation with Havstovan (www.hav.fo –Faroe Marine Research Institute). They use Sea-Bird Electronics (www.seabird.com) instruments – one of the main suppliers of CTD instruments.

A meteorological station scheme including commonly used parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, temperature difference in height, atmospheric pressure, humidity, and solar radiation is in the pipeline too.
