Data Quality Systems supports the data quality management of meteorological and oceanographic (met-ocean) observations. Within this narrow field we aim at developing the full range of concepts, tools, and services to provide the users of our products with the most efficient observation environment with focus on data quality and process efficiency.
Product Launch at OI2010 (March 2010 at ExCel London)
Data Quality Systems presented the DQ Framework at the OI2010 (Oceanology International) in London March 2010. The exhibition was a great success and our staff was busy demonstrating the DQ Framework with the three proven applications (current profiles, directional waves, and wind). Expressions such as “Amazing – this is what I have been waiting for!” were used. We were not surprised – but even more encouraged to serve the met-ocean community with data quality management tools and services.
With the DQ Framework which has been stable for more than a year, and the three proven applications mentioned above, Data Quality Systems is ready to approach the market. We are ready to establish relations to customers, instrument providers, data owners (i.e. project management), observation management, data quality management bodies, research community and others related to the data quality management process of met-ocean observation data.
